How to Read and Understand Body Language?

The best thing with the body language is that it can be understood by any person who does not know how to decode the words of any language he does not know. Body language is a universal language. It is very interesting for somebody to learn body language because he is going to learn the language of every person around the globe. It is an art to read and understand a person’s body language in order to know whether he or she is lying or speaking the truth. Eyes 

Whenever you happen to see a person you have eye contact with him or her. Eyes are very playful in giving the non verbal cues. You can judge the expressions of happiness, anger, sorrow, fear, surprise, etc from the language of eyes. The eyes of a person would surely let you know what the intentions behind the eyes are. Staring with stagnant eyes would let you know how annoyed a person is with you. In the same way, if a person is not having eye contact while talking to you, it simply means something is going wrong or unexplained. 

Speech style

You can read and understand a person’s mood while talking to him or her. For example, your boy friend or girl friend would be very garrulous, excited, warm and friendly when he or she is in good mood. On the other hand, crude, erratic and dull words would let you know that it is not a good time to date. 

Sweating

Sweating is a good part of body language and can tell you a lot about a person. Sweating of a person normal condition indicates any health problem or uneasiness with a particular situation. Nervous anxiety also causes sweating. 

Posture

Posture would immediately let you know how a person is feeling or reacting to a particular situation. A slumping posture shows that the person is tired, depressed and sad whereas upright and straight posture would indicate a person’s attentiveness, excitement and readiness. 

Walking

The person walking fast points out the energy and excitement a person has and when a person is walking slowly when there is no need to walk slowly means he or she is tired and lacks energy. This also shows disinterestedness in joining something.  

Touch

Touch is the direct body language. It apparently lets you know what some body feels and reacts for you. A warm and excited hug or handshake means that the person likes to see you and is happy to see you. The interpretation would be opposite if he pushes your hand or seems leaving your having just after a miss. 

Face

Face indicates how somebody is responding to you for your treatment. Passing a smile indicates that the person is very happy with you and if frowning is faced, then it is better to be away from that person for the time being.
